Yesterday morning, walking along a public footpath in the Bath, we stumbled across a small patch of land. In a small clearing between overgrown hedgerow, someone has created a little vegetable plot and invited passers by to help themselves. It was brimming with seasonal produce – beetroot leaves, courgettes and rocket. It’s all in the name of transition bath who run guerilla gardening events to turn unused public land into community vegetable patches. I think I’ll be back this week to pick a courgette to 2!
