Today I met up with a couple of friends in London for a spot of shopping and lunch. We steered clear of Oxford Street, opting to spend the day ambling around Sloane Square and nearby streets. It was so lovely to visit London and not be engulfed by the frantic hustle and bustle of Saturday shoppers and tourists. The highlight of our trip was going to Daylesford Organic Cafe on Pimlico Road for lunch. Part cafe, part deli and part home interiors haven it was such a wonderful place to while away an hour or two. Their range of home gifts was extremely hard to resist and all afternoon I’ve regretted not treating myself to a stem ginger candle. I only wish their Gloucestshire Farmshop was a little nearer to Bath.
