Thank you!

I feel a very lucky girl this Christmas having received some wonderful gifts from both my family and friends. I’ve taken a few snaps of some and expect the rest will make their way onto this blog some way or another over the coming months. Thank you to all and best wishes for 2012.

The Bellflower Bakery

Yesterday we all sat down for a cup of tea and a slice of Sticky Ginger Loaf Cake courtesy of the Bellflower Bakery in London. The cake was perfectly spiced and so delicious that I couldn’t resist a second helping and scraping the case clean of all the sticky ginger goodness! Keep an eye out for delicious treats from the Bellflower Bakery at farmer’s markets across London soon.

Pick me up

I’ve been a little under the weather the last couple of days so yesterday I popped to my favourite Bath flower stall and picked up a couple of tiny treats. I left with a miniature pot of tete-a-tete and a single hyacinth. On my way home I also picked up some festive mistletoe and then set about making the flat a little more Christmassy.

Day off no.1 – Christmas Shopping

Today I enjoyed a wonderful day Christmas shopping in Bath with my Mum. We kicked off proceedings with festive drinks in Caffe Nero. Then followed a quick amble around the Christmas Market and a sample or two of cheese, but don’t worry we didn’t spoil it for next Saturday! The usual circuit of shops – Vinegar Hill, White Living, Kitchens, Rossiters, Grasse – and another delicious lunch at Jamie’s Italian. See you in just over a weeks time x
