Last night’s cocktails at Sub 13 were damn good; there’ll be plenty more Caipirinhas on the cards this summer.
Yesterday we went for Sunday brunch at Granger & Co in Notting Hill. I couldn’t resist the toasted rye, avocado, lime & coriander, whilst my sister went for the soft boiled organic eggs & sourdough soldiers and Stu for the bill’s BLT. An hour later I stepped out into the sunshine wishing I lived nearby and plotting my excuse to return again soon.
This week’s dearivy order was the very first order of my favourite card. It made me smile packing these cards all the way off to Canada and I hope they make the people who receive them smile too.
Aptly titled the best fish baps, tonight’s dinner was thrown together in 15 minutes and devoured in just 2. A delicious, oozing ciabatta filled with pan-fried cod, homemade tartare sauce and a sprinkling of humble cress. Just the pick me up for a Monday evening.
