Summer strawberries

At the weekend I treated myself to a little strawberry plant and tomato plant for my windowsill. There are no tomatoes yet, but the strawberry plant seems to be happy enough!

Wet summer’s day

This afternoon, equipped with wellies and a raincoat, I went for a drizzly hours long amble along the Kennet and Avon canal. We finished with a rewarding dinner at The Wheelwright Arms and a scenic drive back through the picture perfect village of Combe Hay.
